Today I baked one of my favourites… Banana Loaf! It’s a classic for our family and it brings back memories of when my mum would make it on a Sunday. It’s such an easy bake and it tastes AMAZING.
225g caster sugar
285g plain flour
1 tsp bicarbonate of soda
4 ripe bananas (mashed)
2 tbsp golden syrup
After combining all the ingredients together, I poured the mixture into a greased loaf tin and cooked for one hour at 160 degrees in a fan oven.
I am currently tucking into my second slice. It is so addictive! We can never seem to make it last more than a day in our house.
